Stonetown Heritage Festival

There's fun for everyone at the annual Stonetown Heritage Festival on Saturday, July 25! This free event celebrates the cultures, stories and histories that shape the past and present of St. Marys. The festival features family-friendly activities, heritage tours, art, vendor's and farmers' market, and live music and dance.

You asked and we delivered.

This year we are offering more opportunities to grab a ride downtown. One will leave from the Pyramid Recreation Centre and the other from the St. Marys Wellness Centre parking lot. Both will drop you off at either Town Hall or the Green Bridge. Enjoy a free ride on the shuttle, brought to you by the Downtown St. Marys BIA, running from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on a continuous loop.

The St. Marys Farmers’ Market is heading downtown to join the excitement!

Visit them on Water St. N. from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM to browse fresh local goods, and enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by the St. Marys Kinsmen from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

BRINGING BACK A CLASSIC!
Take a ride on our trackless train! Climb aboard for a ride to Milt Dunnell Field for the Kinsmen Summerfest Midways, and check out everything happening for the Stonetown Heritage Festival.
Train rides run from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Wander through the Vendor Village along Queen St. and Water St. to find just about anything you can dream of! Downtown businesses will be out on the street, and we’re welcoming special vendors from all over Ontario with one-of-a-kind finds.

Catch nonstop entertainment on our Queen Street stage! Bex in Motion is back, along with amazing local performers from 10 AM–4 PM.

  • Inflatables and Interactive games on Wellington St. N 
  • Free face painting, lawn games, and activities hosted by St. Marys Library and St. Marys Museum at the Library courtyard (between Town Hall and Tim Hortons)

Experience unbelievable magic with professional magician Ron Gudel at 2:00 PM in the Town Hall Auditorium. Keep an eye out for him downtown as he shares quick previews of his tricks throughout the day.

Come hungry! Our food trucks will be serving up amazing flavours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Stay tuned for the lineup.

We are teaming up with Summerfest to bring you the ultimate finale to the Stonetown Summer Series. Get ready for non‑stop fun. Hit the Midway from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, then head straight to Milt Dunnell Field for a full night of electric live music from unbelievable performers.
Get pumped, get loud, and get ready for an epic end to the season.
Please note that tickets must be purchased for the Kinsmen Summerfest.

Ready to end your day with a fright? Purchase your ticket for the St. Marys Ghost Walk, hosted by Stratford Walking Tours.

Heritage Bus Tours (11:00-3:00)

  • Led by Museum volunteers.
  • Will depart from the parking spaces on Church Street, beside Town Hall.
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your departure time.
  • In past years tours almost always sell out and have a waitlist, so if you are unable to make your tour, please cancel your spot in ActiveNet or contact the Museum to cancel.

10:00 Trout Creek Walking Tour

  • Led by Pat Donnelly, newly retired Watersheds and Climate Change Manager for the City of London, and local river expert.
  • Please meet at the entrance of Town Hall.
  • Walking tours are rain or shine but will be canceled in the event of extreme weather, such as lightning. Tour participants will be contacted if the tour is canceled due to weather.
  • In past years tours almost always sell out and have a waitlist, so if you are unable to make your tour, please cancel your spot in ActiveNet or contact the Museum to cancel.

11:00 Heritage Walking Tour

  • Led by Larry Pfaff, local historian and author.
  • Route will explore the residential homes and churches in the south ward. Please meet in front of Town Hall.
  • Walking tours are rain or shine but will be canceled in the event of extreme weather, such as lightning. Tour participants will be contacted if the tour is canceled due to weather.

Interested in becoming a volunteer at the Stonetown Heritage Festival 2026? Volunteers help bring the festival to life by supporting event set up, engaging with visitors in the Kids Zone, assisting vendors, and helping ensure a safe and welcoming environment throughout the downtown area. It is a rewarding way to connect with the community and be part of one of St. Marys’ most cherished annual events. Flexible volunteer shifts are available on July 25 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
