Fishing and Swimming

St. Marys is a hidden gem for leisurely fishing. The town is located at the junction of the north branch of the Thames River and Tout Creek. The waters are home to a variety of different fish species including bass and yellow perch. If you don't have any gear but want to try your hand at fishing, fishing poles and tackle are available through the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) TackleShare program at the St. Marys Public Library

For more information on licenses, seasons and catch limits for Zone 16, check out Ontario Fishing Regulations.

Please note that due to construction, the west quarry is currently not accessible for fishing.
