WinterLights

Enjoy over 100 colourful holiday displays at the FREE St. Marys WinterLights! Located at Milt Dunnell Field, this must-see festive experience is one that everyone can enjoy as you can choose to either walk or enjoy the displays by car.

Our wonderful WinterLights will be illuminated live on Facebook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19 will and remain  illuminated until January 2, 2022!  The displays are lit each evening from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Donations to this free display are welcome at Waving Santa as you exit Milt Dunnell Field or at the sponsor wall. For donations requiring a taxt receipt, please submit via cheque made payable to "Town of St. Marys" or contact events@town.stmarys.on.ca for more information.

In addition to WinterLights, you can also tour St. Marys at your leisure with our Holiday Home Tour Map! Begin your self-guided tour at WinterLights and wind your way around town to visit some incredibly decorated homes!  Download and print the map (best printed on legal sized paper) or access the tour on the free Driftscape app. 

New Year's Eve Fireworks

A new and incredible tradition for St. Marys! Send out the old year in grand style, with an incredible fireworks show from the iconic Grand Trunk Trestle! Watch fireworks soar more than 500 feet in the sky from almost anywhere in town, including a live stream on the Town of St. Marys Facebook page! The show begins at 6:00 p.m. Thank you to the Rotary Club of St. Marys for this show. 

BIA Christmas Open House

This popular event will again run for three days this year: Friday, November 19 to Sunday, November 21. Participating downtown merchants will pay the tax and offer festive promotions and experiences! Follow along with the festive fun on Facebook and Instagram and support your fellow local businesses!

The Christmas Open House is an annual event, so if you missed this years Christmas Open House, be sure to check out this page for future dates and join us in 2022!

  • Horse drawn Carriage rides between 11am - 3pm, leaving from the entrance at the Flats

As well, our traditional Victorian Christmas Carollers will be roaming the streets, spreading Christmas cheer on Sunday.

Santa Claus Parade

Our Kinsmen Club is planning an in-person traditional parade for Saturday, November 27! The parade will leave the Pyramid Recreation Centre at 7 p.m. and will follow an extended route. After travelling north on James and west on Queen through the downtown, it will turn south onto Water and then east on Park to return to the Pyramid Centre.

Visit the Kinsmen website to complete an online form to enter a float or to give a donation to the parade!
